The sovereignty of God and the free will of man.

Of course, God is sovereign. He is omnipotent (All powerful), omniscient (All knowing), omnipresent (present everywhere at the same time). He is the origin of all we see, Creator. Therefore, all that is created is subject to His will. As man, we cannot fully comprehend the nature of God. Think about that God is not even subject to time as we know it. His sovereignty allows Him to work within any realm he chooses. His authority (Power) is at work as He chooses only limited by His sovereign will. All realms are ultimately subject to Him.

Man has been given absolute free will within the realm that was and is created for him. God gave Adam dominion over the fish the fowl and everything that creeps on the earth. He could do whatever he willed. God’s sovereignty allowed this. This was established when God told them they could eat of any tree in the garden except the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil.

It was the free will of man that chose to disobey God and bring sin and death into his realm thus creating another realm. The realm of sin and the flesh.

More to come on this…
